The programme

The week and the day at Casa Kerigma

Casa Kerigma is neither a holiday home nor a place of mere hospitality: it is a few days of fraternal, “Upper Room” life, to rediscover one's vocation and recover from fatigue.

The day

A day at Casa Kerigma

A simple rhythm, between prayer, holy places and fraternal life.

The day opens with prayer and unfolds in the alternation of shared moments and personal time. The house offers a space in which to listen, study, rest and share life, taking part also in the everyday gestures of welcome.

The heart

Not a holiday home: a fraternal, Upper Room life

Casa Kerigma is neither a holiday home nor a place of mere hospitality. It is a house where, for a few days, one lives a fraternal, “Upper Room” life, like the apostles with Mary after Easter: listening to the Word, celebrating the Eucharist, eating and working together, going out to the places of the Gospel and, in the evening, sharing what each one has received.

One comes to rediscover one's vocation, to recover from the fatigue of ministry, study and life, to regain a taste for the essential and go home with new eyes. Whoever arrives is not a customer but a brother or sister entering a temporary family, with the rule of a shared life.

How to come

The houses are not booked: one asks to be welcomed. First read the proposal designed for you, then tell us who you are, the period you wish and what you are looking for; the house normally replies within three working days.
