The heart
Not a holiday home: a fraternal, Upper Room life
Casa Kerigma is neither a holiday home nor a place of mere hospitality. It is a house where, for a few days, one lives a fraternal, “Upper Room” life, like the apostles with Mary after Easter: listening to the Word, celebrating the Eucharist, eating and working together, going out to the places of the Gospel and, in the evening, sharing what each one has received.
One comes to rediscover one's vocation, to recover from the fatigue of ministry, study and life, to regain a taste for the essential and go home with new eyes. Whoever arrives is not a customer but a brother or sister entering a temporary family, with the rule of a shared life.
